It’s less than a month until FoodTech Qld, which will see food industry exhibitors heading to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7–8 July for two days of product demonstrations, exhibitions and talks — not to mention elbow-to-elbow networking events and an awards ceremony.
New for 2022, the FoodTech Qld Conference will be held throughout the two-day exhibition, with content curated by the Australian Institute of Food Science & Technology (AIFST), and in partnership with the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP). The 2022 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Award winners will be announced at a gala event during the day at Foodtech Qld on Friday, 8 July, and streamed nationally.
A selection of products from different manufacturers will be presented at the show. For example, Tronics is demonstrating its S4 thermal inkjet printer that is equipped with a touchscreen, individual motors for simplified label placement, and components with quick-release for easy changeovers; Humiscope is showing its DSC refrigerant dehumidifier for keeping the humidity levels low in food storage areas and warehouses; and Flexopack will be presenting its shrink bags for meat, fish and cheese processors. Other exhibitors include Air Liquide Australia, Mettler Toledo, and Rockwell Automation. And the team from What's New in Food Technology & Manufacturing magazine will be there on stand J30, so please call in for a visit.
